About Ceramic Braces
These are usually selected by patients who prefer braces that are not as visible. Ceramic braces do not discolor. They work the same as traditional stainless steel braces.
Because ceramic is more brittle and tend to chip, the patient has to treat them more carefully than traditional braces. We may not recommend ceramic brackets for treatment plans of an extremely long duration.
